Ema ( Votive Picture of Horse )
Length :  22.8cm,   width 29.8cm,   thickness 0.7cm

It is a chained horse picture with gold painted on the black lacquered square timber, and gold powders scattered all over.

Tebako ( Casket )
Top :  Length and width 19.0cm,  Height 6.0cm
Box :  Length and width 18.0cm,  Height 5.5cm

It is a square box with a lid, black lacquered casket.
Gold painted Chinese lion looking up ward on the top, scattered gold powder on the lion and the ground, and painted bamboo and wild grass all around.

The both have the inscription of the year in 1564.
Ema is a very valuable relic, in order to know the folk religion of those days, since it is a very old votive picture with inscription.
Furthermore, it is an excellent masterpiece and precious example of Ema, using gold-sprinkled lacquer.
Tebako is also a very precious example of arts and crafts in those days, which has the same inscription year, specific style, and technique.
