Overview
Image height 32.2 cm. It is a copper casting Buddha, originally gold plated, but burned to reveal copper. Both molding and casting methods are excellent, and they are rare items found in the prefecture as bronze statues. The Fujiwara style can be seen in the crown crown, bracelets, and chest ornaments. It is considered to be a late Heian period work. There is no other case than found in the temple in the image of Nara Motokoji. We show the oldness to see rarely and are valuable.
