Overview
Building height 360.6 cm.
Wooden, Hari-Il, Wooden.
There are only eleven 11-faced statues in Torakuji Temple, and this Buddha statue is a large-sized Buddha statue with an original size of about 360 cm, and in this prefecture, it is the second largest in size.
There is an intimal area on the back, and the left arm and the right toe of the complement have fallen, but in a graceful expression, it is a style that does not seem to be a regional production.
This is in contrast to the prominent Buddhas of Tendai-ji, a feature of the regional production, and at the same time a remarkable image in the prefecture north.
It is said that this Buddha statue was transferred from Kannon-do, which was originally in Morioka City Jinou, to the year of Kanbun (1661 to 1673).
