The thickness is 1.1 cm at the edge of the rim, 0.7 cm at the thin part of the meat, 0.6 cm in the middle of the section, and 0.25 cm at the thinnest part.
Made of cast copper, Hachiman-shaped, the edge is slightly warped inward.
The back of the mirror is divided into 2 wards, 瑞 あ ら わ 内 内 内 あ ら わ 瑞 あ ら わ 外 外 す す す す す す す す す す.
The five Buddha statues are engraved on the mirror surface.
It is a work of the Heian period, and it is the oldest as the image mirror of Iwate Prefecture at present.
In view of the arrangement of the Buddha statues, it is a document that indicates that the Tendai Sozonojo Jijiri flow has already entered in the middle of the 11th century.
