The peripheral edge stands perpendicular to the plane of the mirror.
It has a dark green color and the surface is partially peeled off.
The drawing is a chrysanthemum arranged with a spear and a string is a twisted string.
There are small breaks (holes) inside.
This is a work of the late Heian period, showing an example of Japanese mirrors of this era.
It is excavated from around the Shinsenji Temple old main hall on the summit in March 1886.
