
Overview
The ruins of Otake Abandoned Temple are located near the summit of 180 m above the top of Saruki-cho, Kitakami city, on the south slope.
The altar is flat, but the northwest is high along the topography and loosely inclined to the southeast.
The remains are the south facing halls between 5 rows of beams and 4 between beams. The plane is between 4 rows of beams and 2 between beams 2 sides, and the side columns and the entrance columns are pillars in both the row and beam directions. Align.
The middle of the column 5 is wider.
The main objects of the relics are earthenware, pieces of pottery and pieces of large containers, flat iron nails with square cross sections, iron nails for long-press makeup, iron bells.
It is a precious ruin with an important temple in a mountain temple in Heian period.
