Overview
Narakashiwa is originally a warmth tree and there are not many large ones in the prefecture.
This tree is seen slightly in Kitakami River streak, and the distribution north limit is considered to be Shinami Town (near Nagaoka and Furukan).
A oak oak resembles an oak, but differs in that the tip of the leaf is sharply pointed, the petiole is longer than the oak, and the tip of the sawtooth of the leaf edge is not as sharp as the oak.
It is estimated that Narakashiwa, which has a root stem circumference of about 5 m, an eye diameter of about 4 m, a branch diameter of about 4 m, a branch east to west about 14.2 m, a north to south 18 m, a tree height of about 21 m, and a tree age of about 300 years.
It is valuable as a huge tree near the northern limit distribution area of Narakashiwa.
